Portuguese Egg Tart Recipe

(Makes 6-7 small tarts)

  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/6 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cream (or half cream half, coconut milk)
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/3 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Egg Tart Shells recipe

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients for the custard.
  2. Pour into shells.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes. Then put on broil for 5 minutes until tops brown.
