Hong Kong Egg Tart Recipe

(makes 6 small egg tarts)

1/2 cup hot water
1/4 cup sugar
2 drops yellow food coloring (optional)
2 drops vanilla
2 eggs
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon ginger juice (optional)
1 egg tart shell recipe (below)

325 F for 15 minutes, 300 F 8-10 minutes
