Hong Kong Egg Tart Recipe
(makes 6 small egg tarts)
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 drops yellow food coloring (optional)
- 2 drops vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger juice (optional)
- 1 egg tart shell recipe (below)
325 F for 15 minutes, 300 F 8-10 minutes
